... of pointless journal entries.

I'm taking a break right now from cleaning rat cage and my room. The fat boys had to do some sports and are now sleeping. Tired rats are good rats, since they can't destroy my stuff while dreaming. ^___^

These days I'm waiting for two stones to arrive, which I ordered. I like "jewellery". For example I'm wearing a small dog collar (black leather) at my left wrist, a ring that formerly was the wedding ring of my gradma. It's white gold and I added three stripes of yellow gold and made it suitable for my middle finger. A fox head - chain (sterling silver, has been my avatar here for some time), I made by myself, and a few other things. Sometime last weeks I was remembering a blue and black stone which I got when I was a little child and my primary school class was visiting a place, where people dug gemstones out of the ground. I don't know what kind of gemstone that was... But since I remembered that visit and the stone, I want to have some jewellery made from gemstone. I was even dreaming of gemstones, which was weird. I was looking around for a few days and finally found a stone called "labradorite" (right english term?). Its like a flat donut so one can wear it on a leather band as a chain. I love shimmering things and that stone has a mysterious shimmer of different colors. I'm very curious to see what it looks like in real. I've only seen pictures. The second gemstone is a "malachite" because I love green colors, especially that kind of green the malachite has.
Both stones are said to have healing energies. I don't really believe in esoterics, but in this case I'll give it a try.


As far as the artistic thing is concerned, I really need to practice how to do more correct (cast?) shadows and how to hang on with them during the whole painting. In my opinion that's very, very hard and I'm not good at it... Of course I'm still working on characters, the next one is work in process.


And now I'll continue cleaning.
